This sketch was not recorded by A.J. Finberg in his 1909 Inventory of the Turner Bequest.1 It is included in this section because the watercolour study on the verso depicts a coastal scene.
The recto is Tate D25433 (Turner Bequest CCLXIII 310).

A margin of lighter paper around the edges of the sheet indicates prolonged exposure to light.
