Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, and not numbered specifically by Finberg but described as a ‘fragment’,1 the surviving portion of this page includes the beginnings of lines of verse in a scrawled and near-illegible hand, continuing across the full width of folio 16 verso opposite (D35788), under which a fragmentary attempt at a transcription is made. Technical notes:
Two thirds of the leaf have been torn away, leaving a stub extending some 33 mm at its widest, compared with the 98 mm of the intact pages.
