Travis Alabanza: Left Outside Alone

24 June 2017 at 19.00–19.15
Travis Alabanza poses with a tray of burgers

Engage with a powerful comment on queer culture in the arts today

London based performance artist Travis Alabanza stages their divorce from exhibitions, institutions and feeling left outside alone. Using current queer practices that are common in the scene, from lip syncing to pop tunes, Alabanza makes a comment on who has been left behind.

The use of different acronyms and language with reference to identity throughout this text express the personal wishes of each individual or group listed in the programme for the ‘Queer & Now’ festival.
