Several boats are sketched here, and a separate view of St Paul’s Cathedral from the Thames at top left of the leaf, while the lower portion has an extension of the view of the river looking towards the cathedral on folio 32 (D07020; Turner Bequest CV 29). See Introduction to the sketchbook for plans in the mid 1820s for a series of London subjects, including the Custom House and London Bridge.
