Stamped in black ‘XXXV 21’ bottom left, descending vertically
Turner scholar David Hill says that the view, drawn with the page turned horizontally, is taken looking south, up the valley from a point near Grange, between Derwentwater and Borrowdale village itself. The leaf should follow folio 26 recto (D01079; Turner Bequest XXXV 77), a view along Derwentwater from Grange Fell.

Blank; stamped in brown ink with Turner Bequest monogram; inscribed by A.J. Finberg in pencil ‘141.21 –21’.
