Drawn with the sketchbook inverted. See note to folio 87 and verso (D06979, D07980; Turner Bequest CIV 86, 86a) which have variant drawings of towers, two of them set on a bridge. Here, the tower has become a classical or Palladian box, with double columns and a pediment.
