The sketches on this page were made at the Falls of Clyde in Lanarkshire. At the top of this page, drawn with the book in the portrait format, is a sketch that probably shows the view upstream along the gorge from Corra Linn,1 though it is a quick and rough sketch that is hard to decipher. Beneath, drawn with the book turned to the right, is the continuation from folio 6 verso (D26270) of a sketch of Corra Castle at Corra Linn. See folio 1 verso (D26260) for references to further sketches of the Falls of Clyde.
