This is the right half of a double-page spread continued from folio 292 recto opposite (D11890), taken from above the Sutton Bank road, looking north-west to Gormire Lake. The view is the second of three page spreads recording the whole panorama from north to south on Sutton Bank (see, running from the back, folios 292 verso–293 recto, D11892–D11891; and folios 291 recto–290 verso, D11888–D11887).
