This view of Güls is similar to that on the folio opposite Tate D28597; Turner Bequest CCXCI 31a, and shows at centre the prominent twin spires of the Church of St Servatius. Both sketches are connected to a gouache and watercolour drawing: Tate D24634; Turner Bequest CCLIX 69 of 1839.
