With the page turned vertically with the gutter at the top, Turner made the following notes in ink:
New Anns.. pay Jan: & July
            10
The note refers to biannual interest payments on Turner’s long-term annuity investments. For financial notes on adjacent pages, see under folio 1 recto (D22323).
The drawing, made with the page turned vertically the opposite way, is very slight and cursive. It possibly shows the outline of the head and shoulders of a woman with her arms raised either side of her head; if so, it may be related to the study of a woman on folio 7 recto opposite (D22333) or to studies on folios 70 recto and verso, 71 recto, and 72 recto and verso (D22457–D22459, D22461, D22462).
Verso:
Blank, save for a small cluster of slight and possibly adventitious pencil strokes.
