This is a continuation of the drawing on folio 37 verso opposite (D02984). Compare the sheet inscribed ‘Voreppe’, formerly thought to belong to the first Continental tour but now identified as a view on Loch Lomond (Tate D04894; Turner Bequest LXXX A).
