This series of views shows Munich from the Isar, looking across the river to the old town. Among the buildings depicted are the twin-towered Frauenkirche, the Rathaus, the Peterskirche and Heiliggeistkirche and the domed Theatine Church. Ludwigsbrücke (Ludwig Bridge) and the Isartor can be seen in the central sketch. ‘Jul’ is inscribed at bottom centre, and ‘M[...]or’ at top left.
