The drawing on the left-hand side of the page represents part of a view of Tivoli, continued from the opposite sheet of the double-page spread, see folio 44 (D15008). The featured building is the Church of Santa Maria del Ponte, which stood near the eastern end of the Ponte San Rocco. It was demolished during the works to divert the course of the River Aniene away from the residential district following a great flood in 1826.1
On the right-hand side of the page is a separate sketch, drawn with the sketchbook held vertically. The subject is currently unidentified but it appears to represent buildings within a landscape, possibly the Villa Adriana on the outskirts of Tivoli.
