With the sketchbook turned horizontally, Turner filled this page with a view of a busy street in Quimper with the southern transept of the Cathedral of Saint-Corentin visible above the rooftops. This volume is scattered with depictions of this Brittany city, a list of which is included in the sketchbook introduction.
