Hohensalzburg Fortress at Salzburg is depicted from the south in two views, one considerably more detailed than the other.

Technical notes:
A brown particle or piece of fibre is embedded in the paper at centre. Top right corner missing with a very small tear present, there is evidence of paper restoration on this corner. Water stains present, presumably owing to the Tate Gallery flood of 1928.
