The four sketches on this page are of loch-side mountains. While there are no recognisable topographical details, it has been suggested that sketches inscribed ‘L Lo’ opposite these on folio 67 (D26568) may depict Loch Lomond, making this a likely location for these four sketches. Beneath the top sketch may be the inscription ‘BL’, perhaps standing for Ben Lomond.
