Turner made dozens of pencil studies of works of art and antiquities in Rome, particularly in the Vatican and Capitoline Museums, as well as other collections throughout the city. This page contains several sketches of antique vases, amphorae, tombs and ornamental capitals although the source is currently unidentified.
