Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Drawn with the page turned horizontally, this is possibly the same mountain as that shown on folio 51 verso (D02073), perhaps the peak of Snowdon seen from the path that Turner took when climbing it.
Technical notes:
The smear of orange-brown colour across the page is possibly continued from folio 57 recto (D02083).
