This view appears to show the lost Porta Feltre, a classical arch flanked by coupled half columns which stood in what is now the Piazzale Guglielmo Marconi on the west side of Belluno until 1926, when photographs recorded its demolition. The campanile of the cathedral is seen in the distance on the right, high above the Piave Valley.
Folio 67 verso (D32394) shows the medieval Porta Rugo on the far side of the town. For other views in and around Belluno on adjacent pages, see under folio 66 verso (D32392).
