This page contains three sketches in the Arve Valley:
i. (with the page in the upright position at the top) An extremely hasty note of a mountain profile, inscribed ‘Cluses[?]’.
ii. (centre) An equally hasty note of a village in a mountain valley.
iii. (at the bottom of the page with the page turned to the horizontal) Mountains, a church and a ‘Road’, probably near Bonneville and possibly the continuation to the left of a sketch formerly present on the page opposite, now missing.1

The sequence of blue page numbers is interrupted here by a missing folio. The next numbered page present is that numbered ‘31’ by Ruskin. The missing page was catalogued as missing by Finberg and a blank page has been bound into the sketchbook to mark the deficiency; see Technical notes to the sketchbook.
