Lauffen am Neckar, located to the south of Heilbronn, is depicted in these three sketches. The central and most developed of the views shows Lauffen Castle overlooking the Neckar at left, with Regiswindis Church and a tower at right. A figure appears in the foreground at left. Details of Regiswindis Church’s steeple and the tower are rendered above, to the left of the inscription ‘Laufen Nec’. A second, rougher sketch of Lauffen is rendred at rear, parallel to the gutter of the book.
