Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, the Chinese Fishing Temple is seen to the north-east across Virginia Water. The view continues across folio 88 recto opposite (D22141; CCXXXVIII 86), where the Five Arch Bridge is shown to the north-west. There is also a half-page continuation to the right on folio 85 verso (D22137; CCXXXVIII 83a).
