Finberg transcribed only the first part of these notes, which begin ‘13 Feet 7 to the inside of Pannel moulding | door 2 ft ¾ – 7 feet 10 Inches’ and record similar measurements below. In the context of the various notes in the sketchbook for Turner’s lectures as Professor of Perspective at the Royal Academy, these could relate to a building or to architectural backgrounds in paintings.
