Drawn with the sketchbook inverted and continued on folios 39 verso and 40 verso (D10404, D10406) to form a panorama of Wharfedale from the Chevin. See catalogue entry for D10406 for the subject and the watercolour based on it (Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam).1
