At the right of the page with the sketchbook inverted is the slight continuation of the view north-east from Edinburgh Castle on folio 60 verso (D17612). The few marks on this page represent the spire of St Andrew’s Church on George Street, and above it the hill of North Berwick Law, twenty miles away to the north-east (see folio 60; D17611).
