Continued from folio 75 (D26062; CCLXVII 77) is a view of the Eildon Hills (folio 75) and Melrose Vale from the road to the east. For another view of Melrose see folios 14 verso–15 (D25953–D25954; CCLXVII 14a–15). Turner made this sketch on his journey between Dryburgh Abbey and Melrose on 8 August 1831.
