This view of Loch Katrine looks east from the bay near coir nan Uriskin at the foot of Ben Venue on the southern shore. At the left of the sketch is the profile of the summit of Ben A’an with part of Ellen’s Island (Eilean Molach) below. Around the centre is the promontory of Am Priosan, which looks like an island in the sketch. At the right is the northern slope of Craig Leven, a hill at the east end of the loch. There are further sketches of Ben A’an from a similar position on folios 42 verso–44 verso (D26519–D26525).
