From the top of Castle Hill in Inverness, this view looks south along the River Ness as its winds through the city towards Loch Ness. The hill to the right is Tomnahurich Hill, where Inverness cemetery is situated. There is a view to the north from the same vantage point on folio 3 verso (D27049).
