This quick sketch of the outline of hills or mountains was made on the reverse of a sheet with a sketch of the Cromarty Firth from a few miles north of the village of Evanton in Ross-Shire: Tate D34842 (Turner Bequest CCCXLIV d 357). There is too little in the current sketch to suggest a particular view but it is likely to show hills near Cnoc Fyrish.
