The sketch on this page continues from folio 65 verso (D26383) which is inscribed ‘view from camp hill’ by Turner. It is possible that this is a view from the Campsie Hills near Bannockburn to the south of Stirling, but the landscape itself has not been identified. An alternative suggestion for this sketch and sketches on folio 66 verso–68 verso (D26385–D26389) is the landscape near Craignethan Castle in Lanarkshire.
At the bottom left of the page, drawn with the sketchbook inverted is a separate, but presumably related sketch, of a hill with a flat structure on top which may be the remains of a fort.
