This very brief sketch on the verso of D08958 (CXXVI 12) shows coastal features on the coast of South Wales on the horizon across Bridgwater Bay. It is a continuation to the left of D08957 (CXXVI 11), where the main drawing occupies the full width of the page. The individual leaves of the sketchbook were apparently still oversewn together at that point (see the introduction), as the two parts of the drawing stop short of the stitch holes at their inner edges.
Technical notes:
There are five sets of stitch holes near the right-hand edge.
