This page contains rough sketches of the river valley to the south-east of Tivoli. The largest view depicts one of the ruined sections of Roman aqueduct which stand at Ponte degli Arci, on the Via Empolitana towards Castel Madama. Related studies can be seen on folios 85–85 verso (D15087–D15088). The smaller sketch in the bottom right-hand corner may represent the fourteenth-century fortress at Tivoli, the Rocca Pia.
