Comparison with historic topographic prints suggests that this sketch of a single arched bridge beside a tower depicts the Ponte del Salvatore in Terracina.1 Visible in the distance is the heights of Monte Sant’Angelo with the distinctive promontory of the Pisco Montano, see folio 18 verso (D15590).
