Since the numbering of the leaves in this part of the sketchbook is apparently Turner’s own, there is no reason for the insertion of this blank leaf here, between two views of Kidwelly. It presumably belongs later in the book. Compare the blank leaf folio 38 recto (D00591; Turner Bequest XXVI 37a).
