This outline study is copied, or perhaps partially traced, from the sheet inscribed ‘Evesham’ in the Lloyd Bequest, British Museum, London (1958–7–12–398), which Finberg assigned to the tour of 1793.1 Finberg, who catalogued this as the recto of the sheet, thought this to be a view of Crickhowell Church. The recto as now mounted is D00139 (Turner Bequest XII J).
