i. (top) A mountain path, perhaps going up to the Col du Bonhomme or perhaps looking down the Arve Valley from Les Houches towards Le Fayet.
ii. (bottom) A mountain path, again perhaps approaching the Col du Bonhomme, with a wayside cross in the foreground and possibly a building in the distance.
