This slight study was not recorded in Finberg’s Inventory.1 It may show panelling in the Oak Room at Farnley Hall, in relation to other studies on folios 74 verso–75 recto, 76 verso (D09770–D09771, D09774) and 80 recto (D09779; CXXXIII 79). It is not clear which way up the drawing should be read, though in relation to the main sequence of the book it appears at the top of the page with a small reversed ‘L’ shape to the top right, which may indicate a section of moulding, as also seen in the third of the drawings mentioned above; see under D09770 for further discussion.
