There are related views on folios 42 verso–43 recto and 43 verso (D22054–D22056). This as yet unidentified subject, inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, with a long bridge or causeway leading to buildings including a church spire beyond, is presumably in the Midlands, as discussed under D22054.
