The subject is drawn with the page turned horizontally. David Hill has identified this rapid note as a study at Egglestone Abbey; if so, it indicates that the leaf has been bound out of sequence and probably belongs, as noted in connection with the drawing on the recto (D01001; Turner Bequest XXXIV 90), with other studies of Egglestone Abbey in this book, on folios 28 recto and 29 recto (D00933, D00934; Turner Bequest XXXIV 27, 28).
