This picturesque view of Oberwesel is framed by the spire of the Liebfrauenkirche at bottom right and shows a cluster of medieval towers and buildings including: the square tower of St Martin’s Parish Church, the numerous turrets interspersed along the town wall, and the crenellated defensive towers, among them the Ochsenturm, the Katzturm, and the Steingassenturm.
