This rough sketch shows the city of Koblenz taken from the Moselle Bridge (see Tate D28529; Turner Bequest CCXC 87a). The view incorporates the Festung Ehrenbreitstein and the spires of the Basilica of St Castor and the Liebfrauenkirche.
