These three panoramic views of Koblenz incorporate the Ehrenbreitsetin fortress and the towers of the Basilica of St Castor and the Liebfrauenkirche. The largest of these sketches was taken at high viewing point on the Petersberg. There are various inscriptions surrounding the sketches, including the numbers ‘2’ and ‘25’, the month of ‘July’ and what appears to read ‘Raft’.
