With the page turned vertically, the outer third comprises a view of trees arching over water. The rest is taken up with a waterside wooded view which may or may not be a continuation of the more developed wash drawing on folio 9 recto opposite (D17785), which may show the River Thames at Richmond; see the entry for the latter for further discussion.
