This summary sketch, drawn with the sketchbook turned horizontally, shows Pallien and the Church of Saints Simon and Jude (see also Tate D19727, D19730; Turner Bequest CCXVI 89a, 91). A cursory sketch of hillsides is drawn next to this view, orientated in accordance with the foliation.
