This is a continuation of the drawing on folio 53 verso opposite (D05006; Turner Bequest LXXXI 104), under which the subject is discussed.
The shaded chalk sail and clouds above the centre are continued from folio 53 recto (D05005; Turner Bequest LXXXI 103), half of that leaf already being missing when Turner made the drawing.
