This slight sketch probably shows the boat that Turner drew more carefully on folio 6 recto (D03991). Both are related to the oil painting Fishermen upon a Lee-Shore, in Squally Weather, exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1802 (Southampton Art Gallery).1
