The subject is continued on folio 8 recto opposite (D02404). Whereas the two preceding drawings, on folios 3 verso–4 recto and 5 verso–6 recto (D02397–D02398, D02400–D02401), were taken looking south with the sea on the left of the scene, this is apparently a view looking north, and it may be inferred that the sea is away to the right.
