J.M.W. Turner: Sketchbooks, Drawings and Watercolours

This is a view of Arundel taken from a vantage point by the bridge crossing the River Arun. Turner has rendered the sketch with the book turned upside down. St Nicholas’ Church and Arundel Castle are depicted at left and right respectively. This sketch is associated with Turner’s watercolour designs for W.B.
