This very faint study appears to show a group of figures. They may have been observed at the seaside (see the Introduction for other examples of such recreational scenes), although in this instance this can only really be inferred from the context of the sheet in sequence with other such scenes, such as Tate D24931 and D24933 (Turner Bequest CCLX 95, 97).

Blank; inscribed in pencil ‘D24932’ bottom left.
There is a border of white paper or tape, indicating that the sheet was formerly mounted.
