This slight drawing, made with the page turned vertically, is not mentioned in Finberg’s 1909 Inventory.1 It apparently shows the sun rising or setting and reflected in the sea off cliffs, probably on a Channel coast. See the sketchbook’s Introduction for the many slight coastal views scattered through it.
